I decided to leave a review because this cabin has surprisingly few reviews, and it truly deserves more recognition. The host clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel comfortable and prepared for anything they might need during their stay — even things they probably wouldn’t expect. The cabin had everything: a washer and dryer, a hair dryer, even a hair straightener. There were flashlights, lighters, and so many thoughtful little details that it’s honestly easier to list what the cabin doesn’t have. No matter what kind of vacation you prefer, this place has something for you. If you enjoy hiking, there are trails nearby in the mountains. If you want to relax, there’s a sauna, hot tub, fire pit, and even swings where you can sit and read a book. If you’re into sports, there’s a pickleball court and a basketball hoop. My wife and I actually ended up doing all of these activities during our stay. But most importantly for us, the cabin was spotless. We’ve stayed in many different places — modern cabins, old condos in Italy, even gritty lofts in Georgia (the country) — and our number one requirement is always cleanliness. This cabin absolutely exceeded our expectations. There were also so many small touches that made the overall experience special. For example, the campfire was already prepared when we arrived; we just had to light it. That level of thoughtfulness says a lot about the host. Ingles supermarket is 15 minutes away. This is probably one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. We enjoyed it so much that we even extended our trip by an extra day. That’s why this review sounds the way it does — I genuinely can’t think of a single drawback to mention. Honestly, there wasn’t much to dislike. The only small thing is that the gravel road to the cabin might be a little tricky for very low cars or during winter weather, especially when turning around or parking on the incline. But overall, it was absolutely worth it.
